Spartan receiver Charles Rogers is leaving for the NFL.
One could nitpick his playing here or there but the truth is that he was about as impressive of an individual player as you can find in college. If I had to pick one play to remember him for, it would be from the Notre Dame game earlier this year when in the second quarter he caught a ball that was behind the head of Notre Dame defender and came down with not only the ball but also his arms around the defender's helmet. posted by micah holmquist at 11/26/2002 05:53:00 PM
