micah holmquist's irregular thoughts and links
Welcome to the musings and notes of a Cadillac, Michigan based writer named Micah Holmquist, who is bothered by his own sarcasm.
Please send him email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Holmquist's full archives are listed here.
Sites Holmquist trys, and often fails, to go no more than a couple of days without visiting (some of which Holmquist regularly swipes links from without attribution)
Blogs that for one reason or another Holmquist would like to read on at least something of a regular basis (always in development)

Andrew Sullivan likes Jay Leno, which is only further proof that both must be stopped.
FWIW my limited experience (of late) with the late night network talk shows has lead me to conclude that they are all painfully drab, exceprt for Nightline when it features the work of that wacky comedy troupe known as the Bush Administration. They go on and on about some group called "the terrorists" and and a thing called "weapons of mass destruction," and the "threat" they pose to the United States.
The offerings on Comedy Central are better but still flawed. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is almost always witty but, save for segments involving Lewis Black, the whole show is stiff far beyond the point of predictable. Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, on the other hand, seems like Jim Rome discusses Culture, Politics and Society.
